Three Day Rabindra Utshab by Shurer Dhara

To mark the 150th birth anniversary of Tagore, music school Shurer Dhara plans to hold a three-day Rabindra Utshab at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the festival on December 29 while Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen Sen will launch the album series (22 DVDs) titled “Shruti Geetabitan” at the inaugural programme. Four hundred Bangladeshi Tagore singers have recorded all the songs (2300) of Geetabitan, composed by Rabindranath Tagore. Impress Audio Vision Limited will distribute the DVDs.
