City Bank & American Express showcases "Valmiki Pratibha : The Genius of Valmiki" at Shilpakala Academy

City Bank & American Express proudly presented the theatre production of “Valmiki Pratibha : The Genius of Valmiki” on 12th March 2010, in association with cultural organizations Shurolok and Nrityanchal at the National Theatre Hall, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

Chanchal Khan, President of Shurolok, who conceptualized the production said, “It is not simply a European from of opera, but more a play set to music. It took us seven months of immense patience and tests of skill to finally bring the production to stage.” Khan was also the music director of the play and lent his voice to the role of Valmiki.
